ASC brings concert hall up to the state of the art

With 70 degree programs, the Berlin University of the Arts (UdK) is one of the world’s largest, most diverse, and most traditional art colleges and one of the few art colleges in Germany with university status. The Faculty of Music at the UdK Berlin maintains places of specialization and encounter, such as the Joseph Joachim Concert Hall. The 380-square-meter hall was modernized by Amptown System Company with a sound reinforcement system that must provide optimal speech intelligibility, the most homogeneous possible distribution of sound pressure levels across the listening areas, and minimize feedback and distracting reflections.

Saarland University, based in Saarbrücken and Homburg, focuses on promising areas, such as information technology, high-tech materials and the development of new medical active ingredients. Amptown System Company, the systems vendor for media technology, installed, integrated and commissioned high-quality media technology in the lecture hall and the microscope room in the newly constructed pharmaceutical studies building on the Saarbrücken campus.
With its innovative courses of study, the Hochschule für Musik und Theater was long considered a provocateur among German music academies. In 2019, the HfMT was able to win the nationwide “Innovative Hochschule” funding competition with its project application “Stage_2.0” and equip the forum with state-of-the-art technical equipment. Amptown System Company was responsible for the realization of a mobile video wall including trusses and mechanical construction in the course of this reequipment at the HfMT.
The Europäisches Hansemuseum in the north of the old town of Lübeck – recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site – brings the history of the Hanseatic League to life.
