LVL World of gaming – Berlin
Gaming Deserves an Upgrade
ASC installs extensive media and event technology at new Berlin gaming venue

Gaming Deserves an Upgrade – Under this motto, Veritas Entertainment has built the eSports and gaming location LVL in Berlin.

On 2500 square meters, fans of games and eSports can watch the competitions in the 200-seat eSports Arena. The highlight is the soundproof dome made of glass and metal, in which players can play against each other. In the LAN area, up to 50 players demonstrate their skills on high-end gaming PCs, and for sports teams there are training rooms with up to 12 gaming PCs, screens and whiteboards for reviews. A hologate set lets up to 4 players immerse themselves in virtual reality and private streaming booths with dual monitors, professional microphones, full HD webcams and green screens are used for content creation. Completing Gamer Heaven is a casual gaming area with slot machines, consoles and racing simulators, a burger bar, merch store, 50-seat movie theater where the big games are streamed, and a VIP lounge for chilling out and enjoying games on the big screens.

In the entrance area, a large LED wall, optimally integrated into the room design, awaits the visitor in order to transmit all current information or event content. Throughout the location, additional digital signage screens display all additional information and current content. The gaming and event areas are equipped with professional lighting equipment and powerful sound systems at the highest level to more than meet the requirements of a variety of event formats.

In the eSports arena with the dome in the center, additional screens as well as fog machines create the right atmosphere. Face cams as well as PZT cameras installed in the areas provide content for the broadcast. For this purpose, a specially equipped video, light and sound control room as well as a compact TV studio, in which Let’s Play streams can be produced, are used. This content can then be played out on social media channels via NDI streaming protocols.  For a particularly compelling visual experience, the cinema is equipped with a 4K laser projector with a light output of 11,000 ANSI lumens and a professional 5.1 sound system.
